UPDATED OCTOBER 2026
Editorial policy
Sources and scope
Guides draw on manufacturer technical documents and other named primary sources. We link the sources used and explain the method at the end of each article. Manufacturer descriptions refer to their own products and conditions. They do not establish performance for another material or an altered packout.
Practical checks
Worksheets, inspection questions and decision tables are editorial recommendations. They help readers prepare a trial or review; they are not manufacturer operating instructions, qualification reports or certifications. Use the current instruction for the actual material and machine.
Images
Generic scenes may be created with image tools. They explain materials and handling rather than document a named facility, customer, machine model or test. Technical diagrams are editable schematics without an implied scale. We do not use illustrative images as test evidence.
Independence and corrections
This publication is independent of previous users of the domain and the manufacturers it cites. It offers no sales or engineering service. Substantive revisions receive an updated date. See contact and corrections for available channels and evidence to retain.
